Hello Oolong community, OolongSwap published our first Twitter post on September 24th, and ever since then we’ve been getting questions from our hyped up community members of “wen announcement?” Well, today is the day, welcome to the long-awaited first Medium article of OolongSwap!
What Is OolongSwap
OolongSwap is the liquidity hub of Boba, the first native AMM on Boba Network. But we don’t want to settle for that, we want more! We want the best of both worlds: safe, smooth while also being fun, revolutionary, and most importantly, irreplaceable!

Wait What Dynamic Pair Fee?
In most DEXes, users are charged some default transaction fees when swapping tokens; these transactions fees are then distributed proportionally among liquidity providers. However, we realized this might not be the most logical way to collect fees as the risk and reward ratio of different token pairs varies.
Therefore, in order to offer an economically efficient solution while also to cover all AMM market spectrum, OolongSwap introduces dynamic pair fee, which adjusted the fees collected (can go as low as 0.01% or as high as 1%) on different token pairs based on their risk levels. Why pay more than you have to to swap stables when you can pay almost nothing? Is the risk of providing liquidity to a new pair high? Well then you probably do deserve more credit of willing to take the risk!
